HERA Collective is an inter- and transdisciplinary platform for research, dialogue, and public engagement at the intersection of gender and visual art. Bringing together perspectives from cultural practice, history, psychology, and artificial intelligence, we work with museums and other partners to make structural gender imbalances in visual culture more visible, more understandable, and more open to change. Under the HERA umbrella, projects connect rigorous, historically sensitive analysis with transparent methods and a commitment to public value. We see collaboration as essential: knowledge is built with partners, not only about them. By connecting research, collections, and cultural institutions, HERA Collective supports more equitable ways of seeing, studying, and shaping visual art.
